Smokie Joe's
Grand Adventure
The Chase Scene

This is a scene from "Smokie Joe's Grand Adventure.  It was filmed in
association with Northwood Temple
Academy in Fayetteville, NC.
The Jet Pack
This is a scene from a production I did at Northwood Temple Academy in 2003 called "The Big Question."  In this scene, the NTA Reasearch Team in Fayetteville, NC graphically and painfully demonstrate how dangerous it is for Christians to live life without the guidance of God's Word and the Holy Spirit.  It's sort of like flying a jet pack without the rudder helmet.

The Movie in HD
Scene 1
This is the first scene of a movie we did at Northwood Temple Academy in Fayetteville, NC.  I wrote the screen play, directed, wrote and performed the sound track, did the camera work and edited.  (I was busy.)  The NTA band students are the actors.

The story revolves around a "Fire Alarm Installation Co." working in a Christian Academy (Northwood) and how they go overboard to answer a special request from the principal of the school.

I will try to upload a new scene each day.   Enjoy!

Scene 2
This is the scene where "Smokie Joe's Alarm Systems Inc." begins installing an alarm system at Northwood Temple Academy.  Things get tense when a student finds out that the sensors operate by a radio-active substance called...
Americium 241.

Scene 3
Mr. Arthur and Guinevere

In this scene, Mr. Arthur, the school principal, gets help from his secretary (Miss Guinevere) to find someone who can help with school discipline problems.  After finding that the local super-heroes are busy putting out a forest fire, Mr. Arthur turns to Smokie Joe for help.  Slack attitudes in class, untucked shirts and sleeping in class are some of the unthinkable offenses that must be dealt with.  It's a daunting challenge.  Smokie Joe and his ex-security guards draw upon past surveillance experience to rise to the occasion.

Making Plans

Smokie Joe and his men meet to decide how to deal with the issues facing the school.
Joe decides to write a school musical with a message:  God wants to give us the two greatest super powers on Earth:  1) the power of Wisdom (James 1:5) and 2) the power of Righteousness (Matthew 5:6)  This is the 1st half of this scene.  Scene 4.5 will appear on Monday.

Scene 4.5
"Tears for Sharkey

When someone you know moves away from God do you "write them off" or are you moved to do something?  Joe learns that Sharkey has turned to a life of crime as an illegal turtle salesman on the streets of Fayetteville, NC.  (How dispicable!  Turtles are on the endangered species list!)

Fortunately, after the lead singer for "Sharkey and the Victims" was kidnapped, the security guards implanted a homing device in one of Sharkey's large teeth in case the same thing happened to him.

Scene 5
Sharkey the Illegal Turtle Salesman

It's true! Sharkey has turned to a life of crime as an illegal turtle salesman on the streets of Fayetteville, NC.  At one time, he was the famous lead guitarist for "Sharkey and the Victims," but he used his God given talents to exalt himself.  Now he leads a life of desperation as he tries to sell turtles to unsuspecting customers.  The question is:  Are you using your God-given gifts to expand the Lordship of Jesus in your realm of influence?

Scene 6
The Meeting

A demon by the name of “Chaos” has been assigned to counteract what Smokie Joe is doing at Northwood Temple Academy.  Chaos meets with a contact person who secures the services of a group of Ninjas.  Plans are made to stop Joe and his men "dead" in their tracks.  There's just one problem...  In Isaiah 54:17 it says...

"...no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and this is their vindication from me,' declares the Lord."

Scene 7
Brand New Boxers

In Proverbs 6:6-11 (NIV) it says…
“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise!
[7] It has no commander, no overseer or ruler,
[8] yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
[9] How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?
[10] A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest--
[11] and poverty will come on you like a bandit
and scarcity like an armed man.
Smokie Joe and his men turn their attention to deal with a classroom sleeper who finds that it's...
"just not safe to fall asleep in class."

By the way...
all the music is original.
